Youth and Family Ministry
Wesley United Church seeks to help congregants of all ages feel closer to God, and to grow, deepen, and renew their faith through prayer, communion, singing, and stories. All our activities, from worship, to coffee hour, to bowling and open mics, hope to impart the message that we are all God’s beloved children, and that we are all loved.
We are blessed with many families with children who attend regularly, bringing vitality and fresh perspectives to our church.
Each week, along with an interactive children’s time led by ministry personnel during the service, Wesley United Church offers Sunday School for children of all ages. The Sunday School uses Illustrated Ministry’s Mini Revolutions curriculum as a main resource. Each week, the class enjoys lively discussions about Bible stories along with games and art activities. We love to make messes and have fun together.
Tweens and teenagers are always welcome in weekly Sunday School classes. Once a month or so, older kids are invited to meet with Rev. Cynthia to discuss matters of faith over snacks and crafts.

We hope encourage our youth to participate in outside initiatives, like retreats and volunteer work, in the wider United Church of Canada community.
